Rennscot was formed in 2018 to meet the product design and manufacturing needs for both individuals and commercial clients. We specialize in reverse engineering, product development, prototyping, and production. Our knowledge, technology, and skills allow us to bring your concepts to life. Our team has industry and product expertise in areas including: automotive, aerospace, defense, medical, and electronics.

Our Beginning

2018

Rennscot started as a small independent manufacturing company with a focus on the automotive industry. Our beginning was based in a 3000 sq. ft. facility in Cambridge, MA with one Haas vertical mill. With this first milling machine we began developing our advanced manufacturing process and started building the framework for our QMS. During our first year in business we quickly grew our manufacturing and design service by acquiring advance 3D printing and laser scanning tools to meet the needs of our customers. 

Year Two

2019

Our second year in business was focused on growth. In May of 2019 we acquired our current 10,000 sq. ft. building and began building out our offices and 8,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing and R&D facilities. After moving in at the end of August 2019, we immediately started acquiring additional CNC milling machines. This first began by acquiring a new CNC mill and CNC lathe, and later in the fall we acquired our first 5-axis milling machine. During our second year we also expanded our team to 5 employees

Year Three

2020

Year three was another year of growth and refinement for Rennscot. Both our prototyping and production capabilities expanded with the purchase of a series of new FDM 3D printers, a high-resolution SLA printer, a new vertical CNC mill, and a bar-fed CNC lathe with sub-spindle & y-axis milling capabilities. Rennscot also devoted a large portion of its time developing a new quality management system which ultimately led to our company becoming AS9100:2016 & ISO9001:2015 certified in December of 2020.
